Fun ads fir covid-19 prevention
I am not sure what other states have done for covid-19 but Hawaii has had comedian Frank De Lima do several of the ads for covid-19 prevention. Some of the words are Hawaiian so I will give you a short list of the words and their meanings prior to the links,
Tutu : Grandmother
Lei : a floral necklace

This is just a funny true story.
In Hawaiian, there is a word for raw fish salad which is poke (pronounced Po Kay). My wife and I were grocery shopping at Safeway (the one mainland grocery store chain in Hawaii) when we went to urge cash register they had small recipe books for sale. We could see the book covers from a distance when we saw one titled "Poke Cakes" and the first thing we thought was raw fish cakes just did not sound like something that would catch on. Needless to say, we read the word Poke as po-kay at which point we realized that we were actually Fawaii residents,

Bill that is funny!
Question: Is Pupu a specific type of appetizer or does it just mean "appetizer"?

Waaaaa I want Chinese food. I have not had it in forever and miss the Buffet that used to be near me. It closed about 2 years ago and I have had Chineses food only once since then.... The only two takeout/delivery places near me are not that great and now they are also closed.
