CENSUS 2020

Did you complete the census?  What did you put for race?  I ask because last time I put CELTIC GERMANIC and figured I'd let them figure it out!

I was born here in the USA so I put down American. I figured that would confuse them! My heritage is Russian and Polish.

Lillian, how did you get the red text?  I know how to do it, but I'm wondering if you did it deliberately, or if it was some kind of mistake.

I used the red text deliberately. However, I created the avatar because I didn't understand how to upload my own photo. I always wanted to create an avatar and this was my opportunity! I'm glad you like it Karen.
By the way, my husband was a first generation American of Norwegian decent on his father's side. His father was a seaman from Oslo that came to New Orleans.
My sister's second husband (who is the father to my 2 younger nieces) is from the Dominican Republican. Prior to becoming a citizen he was working on a cruise ship that docked in New Orleans.
I have some Native American and some French and Spanish heritage too as you might imagine since I was born in New Orleans. It's all good. Especially the food.

How interesting....your family heritage. Per Ancestry mine is 62% England,Wales & NW European; 15% Sweden; 12% Germanic European; 7% Ireland & Scotland; 3% Norway; 1% American Indian. Someone in my family married an Indian princess from an Illinois tribe.

You know, red tabby cats came on the Norwegian sailing ships.
